With Daisy D does and Winton Weddings setting up the rooms looked beautiful. The morning was spent in the Fenwick Hotel conference room, which gave Jett Patterson and Sean Cunningham plenty of space to do the hair and makeup, also gave myself a good space to capture pre photos.

After a proposal in Loch Lomond they decided to set the date and picked the Fenwick Hotel as they had been to another wedding there and loved it. and the entire state joins in Hannahs hope that shell find her father. #HANNAH VS KAREN PLUS#
Plus that intensity at the end….Its always quite handy for me being at the Fenwick Hotel when its just five minutes away from Kilmarnock. This was my first Karen Swan book (I know!) but I will definitely be reading more, she just captured me and drew me into this world. My only thing was that I wouldn’t really call this a Christmas book as I think the title and cover made me think it would be a lot more seasonal whereas in reality there were only a couple of connections. Overall, I was grabbed hook line and sinker by this book, I was a bit daunted at first because it is a chunk but I absolutely flew through it as I didn’t want to put it down. But then his kind hearted-ness when Nats was struggling was compelling…ĭuffy’s adventures were intense and I did get quite panicked a few times at what was coming next for him, I could just picture the images he was sending to Mabel though and that was just so cute! Although there was a certain part where I could have punched him wondering what he was thinking! I wasn’t quite so sure on Tom, I have to say I started to find him very pushy and arrogant, I mean to me, when someone says no then you stop fighting… regardless of if you think they’re making a mistake. You could tell that Natasha was fighting a lot of inner demons but that Mabel was and will always be her priority, no matter what her thoughts were saying Mabel would always come first. Natasha was a character that I liked from the start, the start in the forest created a fondness with me – I love the likes of Go Ape and climbing but I think I’d have rather be Tom and getting to work in the outdoors rather than freezing on the high ropes. There were a few little twists in here, a couple of which I guessed pretty early on but I didn’t see the big one happening and it took me a bit off guard as it also meant that maybe me previous predictions could be correct… I will not cry in public, I will not cry in public! These were the words I kept saying to myself as I just finished this book whilst sat in a cafe, oh boy the ending is SOMETHING ELSE! The intensity of the last ten or so chapters is just incredible and you just blot out to rest of the world to find out what’s going to happen to both Duffy and Natasha. Too late, Natasha wonders why he had ever needed a lucky mascot at all. Sometimes, Natasha feels this stranger half way across the world understands her more than the man lying next to her.īut as the weeks pass and Duffy heads deeper into the mountains, Natasha notices a change in him. When Duffy promises to keep Natasha updated with pictures, a correspondence begins that soon becomes more meaningful. Miraculously, the toy is found, but it has become the lucky mascot of a man named Duffy, who is thousands of miles away trekking in Nepal. As Natasha comforts her distraught child, she turns to social media for help. It had been a make-or-break holiday for their marriage, but Natasha and Rob’s rekindled romance is short-lived when their daughter’s beloved soft toy disappears on the journey home.
